The COOLPIX P7700, Nikon has introduced a compact camera, designed to satisfy the needs of demanding photographers. The P7700 is equipped with a large-aperture NIKKOR lens (1:2,0-4,0) 7.1x zoom lens (28-200 mm (KB)) is equipped as a 1/1, 7 inch 12 -mega pixel CMOS sensor, an image stabilization lens shift and a 7.5 cm (3.0 inches) wide, swiveling and rotating LCD monitor. Movie recording is possible in full HD and photos can be stored on request in the RAW file format.

The P7700 feature in their class currently has the fastest lens (1:2, 0-4, 0) with optical 7.1x zoom (28 - 200 mm correspondingly small format). Two ED glass lenses help minimize chromatic aberration (color error) and the iris diaphragm with seven blades to provide an attractive, natural  with blurred image of the background. Three different frame rates for shooting are available: 8 or 4 frames / s (each for up to 6 pictures in a row) and 1 frame / second (up to 30 frames in a row).

The exposure modes P / S / A / M can be more creative freedom. For custom camera configurations of three memory slots available (user settings) are available. Two function keys can be programmed with the most common options and thus avoid having to use the menu. With two dials on the front and back of the camera can be adjusted directly essential settings. For the ISO sensitivity, values of 80 to HI1 ISO (ISO 6400) are selected.

The 7.5 cm (3.0-inch) screen with 921,000 pixels, a wide viewing angle and anti-reflection coating allows you to shoot from any angle. The swivel and rotate monitor offers a 100% reproduction of the sRGB color space and high contrast. Images can be recorded in high-quality NRW format and stored - and this applies even in continuous shooting mode and Picture Control configuration. The Picture Control configurations allow easy control over image effect. In addition to the pre-installed configurations, two custom Picture Control configurations with individual adjustments for contrast, tint, sharpness and saturation can be stored.

The flip-out built-in flash can be used as a master flash with Nikon's Advanced Wireless Lighting system. This allows the wireless control of multiple remote flash units. The camera allows full HD recording with stereo sound and manual control over a variety of parameters, including aperture or ISO sensitivity. The optical zoom is also available while shooting, and for very high audio quality an external microphone can be connected. The Nikon COOLPIX P7700 is compatible with Eye-Fi X2 card (or newer) for the direct transfer of smartphone and SD, SDHC and SDXC memory cards.

The COOLPIX P7700 with the dimensions of 118.5 x 72.5 x 50.5 mm and a weight of 392g is expected to be available end of September 2012 at a suggested retail price of 549, - Euro commercially available.
