Canon PowerShot SX500 IS and SX160 IS - Compact cameras with super zoom

Canon has introduced the PowerShot SX500 IS and the PowerShot SX160 IS, two new additions to super zoom. The PowerShot SX500 IS equipped with a 30x optical zoom (24-720 mm (KB)). The PowerShot SX160 IS comes up with a 16x optical zoom lens (28-448 mm (KB)). Both models are equipped with a 1/2, 3 CCD sensor with 16 mega pixels.

The PowerShot SX500 IS and SX160 IS will provide stunning images just as easy as playing 720p HD movies. Thanks to Canon optical Image Stabilizer with Intelligent IS will succeed brilliant and sharp images in any shooting situation. Smart Auto, the intelligent auto mode detects the shooting conditions and automatically makes the best picture settings.

The PowerShot SX500 IS will offer just traveling with her 30-fold zoom. The PowerShot SX160 IS will however be an inexpensive and easy-to-use camera with a new lens developed specifically for them.
