Sigma's fixed focal length of the new kind product line boasts a maximum aperture of f1.4 and will thereby provide an uncompromising optical performance. LD 1 F ("F" Low D ispersion) glass element and 4 S LD (Special Low ispersion D) glass elements are designed to ensure the correction of axial and lateral chromatic aberration. Sigma's Super Multi-Layer Coating to Reduce Ghosting and Streulich and enable high-contrast images even in backlight.
The HSM provides fast and silent auto-focus, in any time manual focus override. The almost circular aperture diaphragm blades from 7 to ensure a very pleasant bokeh outside the focal plane.
The lens is equipped with a massive and precise bayonet brass. The special treatment of the surface to enhance the strength to allow long-term use of high-quality lens.
