Canon EOS 7D: Firmware Update

Canon has made a firmware update for the Canon EOS 7D is available. The Firmware Version 2.0.3 includes among others a correction concerning the automatic shutdown and corrects a problem with the incorrect display of the maximum possible images in the viewfinder.

The Firmware Version 2.0.3 includes the following bug fixes, according to Canon:
First Fixes the problem that the camera no longer works when the auto power off is activated.

Second addresses the problem that the maximum number of images that can be incorporated into an image sequence may be less than the number that is displayed in the viewfinder.

Third fixed some bugs that appear when saving developed on camera RAW images on the LCD monitor. (These errors are in the Japanese and Korean language ads are not included.)

The above fixes are related to problems that occur with firmware version 2.0.0. These problems occur with firmware version 1.2.5 or earlier to not.
