With the Nikon, Nikon 1 J2 against a slightly modified version of the Nikon 1 J1. The camera monitor with approximately 921,000 pixels provides a higher resolution than the 1 J1. In addition, the Japanese announced a highly compact 2.5x zoom lens (3, 5-5, 6 / 11 to 27.5 mm) as an underwater housing (WP-N1) to a system for the Nikon.
New to the Nikon 1 J2 is primarily the higher resolution of 7.5 cm monitor (approx. 921,000 pixels). In addition, the Nikon offers a J2 in an even wider range of color and the menu has expanded, for example, with a "creative mode". A NIKKOR 11 to 27.5 mm 1:3.5-5.6 and underwater housing WP-N1
This together with the Nikon 1 J2 presented Underwater Case WP-N1 gives ambitious hobby divers who use their Canon or Nikon 1 J1 1 J2 under water. The underwater housing is compatible with a Nikkor VR 10-30mm 1:3.5-5.6. With the WP-N1 in glossy white, which can be used up to a depth of 40 m, photographers can use all the camera functions as well as on land.
The Nikon system 1-line was also extended to a compact 2.5x zoom lens: Nikkor 11-27.5, the 1 mm 1:3.5-5.6. The focal length range between 11 and 27.5 mm (equivalent to 30-74 mm on a picture) covers most everyday shooting situations. The compact design fits well with the camera lens mounted easily into a pocket or bag. With a rotation of the lens turns on the camera, by retracting the lens, turn it off.
